Get to the root of the health care spending debate.

Going Below the Surface is a research-first endeavor dedicated to unearthing and examining the drivers of health care spending in the United States, and convening a multiple-stakeholder discussion to better understand what we receive for these investments.

Before you lies a tree in the shape of a dollar sign in the middle of a meadow, amongst a blue sky filled with fluffy white clouds and the frolic of birds. Swirling in the wind around the tree are fallen leaves mixed with one hundred dollar bills. Below the surface, you get a view of the slowly moving root system of the tree. The roots are covered with various medical icons and imagery.
